We are a men's Morris club based in Claygate in Surrey where we have been dancing Cotswold-style Morris for over 60 years. On Tuesdays we dance out in public in the summer or practice near Claygate in the winter.

We offer a warm welcome to new dancers and musicians, both experienced and novice.

2020 - A Different Year!

Virtual Morris & an opportunity to update the archives

We still hope to dance at some time this summer, but we are keeping busy and active in different ways.

Our planned events are shown on the Programme page. We have already cancelled all of the early events due to the current restrictions, and it is quite likely that other events may also be cancelled. We are updating the list as the year progresses so keep checking - if we are allowed to dance we will.

In the meantime, our practice is limited to small numbers using members gardens, and getting together for a pint as larger group using Zoom.

Our archivists have been busy. More of the old logbooks have been digitised and uploaded on the Document Acrhive page and we have uploaded more old videos onto Youtube at

We also found some audio cassette tapes of recordings made from scratcy 78s of folksongs sung by Clive Carey. These are now uploaded in in Music section.

So if you want to help to keep the tradition going, come and join us, we are still around.

Any questions? then contact us on if you want more information
